Who’s on Bass, Man? It’s “Lt. Dan!”

Gary Sinise (born today March 17, 1955) has played many memorable roles (President Truman in Truman, Detective Mac Taylor in CSI: NY and Ken Mattingly in Apollo 13), but probably none as memorable as his portrayal of “Lieutenant Dan” in “Forrest Gump.” Sinese recently played South Beach in Miami for a corporate gig rocking out with his “Lt. Dan Band.” The band raises awareness and money for the Gary Sinise Foundation that in turn supports our nation’s defenders, veterans, first responders and their families.
