Peter Jordan Photography Covid-19 Protocol. Peter Jordan Photography embraces the need to reduce the spread of COVID-19 through social distancing. As leaders of event photography in the Scottsdale area we are grateful to be working with you and ensure you we will do all we can to adhere to the Centers for Disease Controls guidelines.

By adhering to guidelines set forth by the CDC, we believe we can reopen our photography business safely, at the same time and contribute to the emotional and financial healing process that needs to take place in a post -COVID-19 world.

Personal Protective Equipment

The use of PPE will be used while working with clients.  We recommend that this measure continues through the end of phase three as outlined in recently released federal guidelines.  The guidelines can be found at:  https://www.whitehouse.gov/openingamerica

Employees & Guidelines

Any studio employees or assistants who are sick will be expected to stay home. Studio owners will provide training and educational materials available through the CDC website ono proper sanitation, hand washing, cough and sneeze etiquette, use of PPE, and other protective behaviors. 

Social distancing / No touch

Photographers will maintain social distancing, using no-touch posing methods when at all possible.  Until further notice is received from the CDC and other health officials, the maximum gathering for a photographic shoot of 10 or fewer persons should be observed.

Temperature checks & screening questions

Temperature checks should be conducted for each photographic client.  Any client with a fever exceeding 100.4 degrees will be rescheduled.  Screening question will include:

  • How are you feeling?
  • Have you had a cough or any flu-like or COVID symptoms in the last 14 days?
  • Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms with the last 14 days?
  • Are you living with anyone who is sick or quarantined?

Adherence to sanitation protocols

  • Washing hands regularly before and after photographic sessions
  • Sanitation of all props, chairs, benches with which a client may come into contact
  • Sanitation of common areas, including doorknobs (interior and exterior), countertops, pens and pencils, tablets and monitors
