Peter Jordan Biography & Business History

Peter Jordan Personal Bio and Business History

Peter Jordan started Peter Jordan Photography Inc. (PJP) in 1990 after graduating from Arizona State University with a B.F.A. in photography. Jordan began his photography career in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma editing and photographing for the high school yearbook. He then earned a full work-study/journalism scholarship to The School of the Ozarks in Clarksville, AR, before transferring to ASU to complete his photography training. While attending ASU, Jordan was a staff photographer for the student newspaper, The State Press, where he served two years as staff photographer and photo editor. During this time, Jordan also freelanced for Chuck Conley Photography and taught photography to reservation and inner-city teens with grants from CETA, GRIC, NEA and the Presbyterian USA Church Foundation.

After graduation from ASU, Jordan free-lanced for area photographers and scenic design companies at Valley of the Sun resorts and saw the potential for providing reliable, over-delivered photography services to corporate America with the emphasis on rush turnaround and customer follow-up for repeat clients. The company’s success can be attributed to diligence and a team of dedicated employees focusing on concise goals. Peter Jordan Photography has a twenty-year tradition of quality imaging, perseverance, friendliness and professional service.

We are people helping people, we know our clients do not care how much we know until they know how much we care about our service and product.”
