ROCKY IV

ROCKY IV

The fact that Rocky has four Super Bowl rings with the mighty Pittsburgh Steelers would be a cool enough reason to photograph The Big One. Add to the fact that just four years after having his leg nearly severed by a grenade in Vietnam, he was back in the Pittsburgh Steelers starting lineup. Then consider: In the nearly four decades since he’s retired, he’s helped thousands of vets as a motivational and inspirational speaker, as well as an expert on retirement planning and investment. Plus, he has four kids. Needless to say, when we photographed Rocky recently here in Scottsdale at a private event we were all “four” it!.

WE SHOOT THE BIG ONES

WE SHOOT THE BIG ONES

In this business we photograph a lot of conferences. Sometimes the company is #1 in their business, sometimes not. This #ONE recently gathered at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort. They wanted to celebrate their Oneness, and we delivered with all 640 attendees becoming #1. All in all, it took about 11 minutes to set up the shot and send them on their way one by one. The results were #1 of a kind! Who’s your #1?

A BIRTHDAY IN OUR MITT

A BIRTHDAY IN OUR MITT

Longtime Massachusetts governor and presidential hopeful Mitt Romney born today March 12, 1947 comes by his quests for office honestly. His dad, George Romney, was longtime governor of Michigan, head of American Motors and also ran for president a few times in the late 60s and early 70s. Even Mitt’s mom ran for Senator in 1970. We ran into Mitt after setting up for our 100 person plus photo-ops and in walks Mr. Romney unescorted and no entourage a mere six months after his failed 2012 presidential bid. We were completely caught off guard by him walking in alone and his unassuming nice guy appearance, we honestly thought he was the banquet manager! Not only did he give a great speech but nailed the Q&A.
